Description
Based on the NFPA 1670 standard, the technician level includes a demonstration of swimming proficiency from each student, rope rescue skills demonstration station and a written test of awareness level material. The remainder of the class time will include all the in-water, boat and rope skills required for NFPA 1006. The last afternoon of class finish- es with a six station practical test. NOTE: If Water Rescue Awareness, Operations and Technician are taken consec- utively, all three classes can be taught in 40 hours.
